LUCIANA PANSA, Soprano
Luciana Pansa, an Italian – Brazilian soprano lirico spinto, began her musical studies with piano lessons. Her approach to singing came through the repertoire a cappella, developed with “Voz Ativa Madrigal”, with whom she recorded the discs "Pro Nobis”, “ Dominus”, “Spirituals”.
In 2011 she moved to Italy to continue her vocal studies, obtaining a postgraduate degree in Opera at the "Francesco Venezze" Conservatory of Rovigo. She has also done masterclasses with Prof. Josef Loibl ( Germany), Paul Plummer (England), Steven Gathman ( USA), David Carl Toulsson (USA), Caren Levine (USA), Bruna Baglioni (Italy), Luciana D'Intino (Italy). In November 2012, as a Traetta Opera Festival Special Prize at International Singing Competition “Don Salvatore Pappagallo", she debuted the role as Emone in Antigone by Tommaso Traetta, in the VIII Traetta Opera Festival at Bitonto (Italy). She won “The Best Female Voice Prize" at Cantiere Lirico 2013 dedicated to 150° Pietro Mascagni Anniversary – Teatro Goldoni ( Livorno).
Starting her soloist career as a mezzo-soprano, she has engaged in roles as Messagera (Orfeo C. Monteverdi); Giovanna e Maddalena ( Rigoletto – G.Verdi) , Ines (Il Trovatore – G. Verdi); Dritte Dame (Die Zauberflote W.A. Mozart); Alisa ( Lucia di Lammermoor – G. Donizetti), Zanetto (Zanetto by P. Mascagni). And, has also been engaged in masterpieces such as Messiah by G.F. Haendel; Te Deum by A.Bruckner, Matthaus Passion BWV 244 by J.S. Bach, Gloria RV589 by A. Vivaldi, Magnificat BWV 243 by J.S. Bach, Messa da Requiem by G.Verdi among others.
After her “fach” change in 2016, she has been engaged in Symphony n.9 by Beethoven; Requiem in D minor k.626 by Mozart; Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini; Sacerdotessa (Aida – G. Verdi) , Santuzza ( Cavalleria Rusticana – P. Mascagni).
Luciana Pansa performs an excellent repertoire also in duo with the harpist Maestro Michele Valcanover.

Maestro MICHELE VALCANOVER, Harp
Student of professor Francesca Tirale at the Civic Music School Riccardo Zandonai of Rovereto (TN). He subsequently graduated with honors at conservatory of Rovigo "F. Venezze".
Since 2012 he has participated as a regular student in the High Specialization courses held by M. Elibabeth Fontan-Binoche, the last student of the harpist / composer Marcel Tournier.
He collaborated as first harp with several orchestras: Lombard Symphony Orchestra, Oflar, Trentino Youth Orchestra, Iros Ensemble, Accademia "La Verdi" di Milano.
In 2017 he won the audition for the first harp at the National Orchestra of the Italian Conservatories (ONCI), with which he has played in September of the same year at the Arena di Verona on the occasion of the 20th career of the singer Elisa (thogederherewheare2017), a concert which will then be broadcast on Channel 5.
The ochestral repertoire perfected him with Margherita Bassani, the first harp of the National symphonic orchestra of the RAI, during an annual master at the Fossano Academy (CN).
He has distinguished himself in numerous competitions: Martinelli Academy Music Competition, Piove di Sacco city competition, Salieri di Legnago music competition.
In February 2016 he won the absolute first prize for unanimity and congratulations from the Jury and the special mentions of the companies Salvi, Lyon & Healy, l and Camac at the "Concourse Français de la Harpe" in Lymoges.
He has given numerous recitals and concerts in Finale Emilia, Bologna, Rovigo, At Castello Sforzesco in Milan, Brescia, Padua as well as in London and Reykjavik.
In 2013, in a duo with the Flautist Antonella Dalla Benetta, he recorded the CD "Music for The Planets" which was then distributed with Mondadori.
